Drew Boyle

Drew Boyle is a father, husband and teacher. He has lived in Ocean County his entire life, graduating from Brick High School in 2005. After high school, Drew attended Ramapo College of New Jersey, where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in History. Currently, he works as a middle school teacher in the Brick Township School District, serving the community as a math and social studies teacher for over seven years. During that time, he earned a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Rutgers University. For the last four summers, Drew has worked as a camp counselor at Camp Discovery in Toms River, a summer program for students with special needs from the Toms River School District.

Drew’s family is the reason he is running for town council. His parents raised three boys with the mantra “brothers stick together,” instilling in them a sense of family and unity from a very young age. Drew’s parents live in Brick, NJ. They raised him to believe that family is eternal and unconditional, that hard work as a process is oftentimes more rewarding than the product, and that if you see something that needs fixing, fix it.

Drew married his wife Kaitlyn in 2016 and they had their first child, Samuel, in December 2018. Kaitlyn has lived in Toms River her entire life and went through Toms River public schools. She, too, is a teacher in the Brick Township School District. Her family has lived in Toms River for over thirty years.

Drew’s family’s future is in Toms River. He believes his duty as a father and a husband includes working to create the best possible future for his family, and Drew plans to see his duty as a councilman in the same way: Make decisions, develop initiatives and solve problems that can lead to the best possible future for the people of Toms River.
